About Me
My name is Craig Russell I build things for the web and make grumpy IT systems get along. I’m currently working at The University of Leicester as a Systems Developer and I enjoy it very much.
I’ve not long finished an MSc in Intelligent Systems (I got a Distinction – thank you for asking) as I’m interested in Genetic Algorithms/Programming and their applications. I’m also more broadly interested in technology, Linux, Open Source, “Doing IT”, computer security and maths & science in general.
I occasionally dip in to various creative arts, papercraft, modelling clay sculpture, graphic and character design among others. If you’re looking for my Free Paper Toys check out the Free Paper Toy section for downloads.
When I’m not sat too close to a monitor buried neck-deep in computer code, I like to be outside in the real world getting muddy feet with my Wife and our two giddy mongrels.
If you’ve got something to say, I’d love to hear from you. Find me on Twitter, Facebook and skype as craig552uk. But if you want to get a reply Twitter is your best bet – that or email.
With an eye on privacy, my public key is available to download here, should you need it.
